Nicole Miller, Founder and Chief Executive Officer
As one of the founders of the company, Ms. Miller has extensive experience with each of FIRE's departments and products. She began as FIRE's Chief Learning Officer, managing the conception, development, implementation, and maintenance of all of FIRE's online and printed content. She then served as Chief Operating Officer for two years before assuming the CEO position.
Prior to joining FIRE Solutions, Ms. Miller spent nine years as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., where she specialized in information system development projects, including interface design, program testing, and user training.
Ms. Miller holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Duke University.
Don Adams, Chief Learning Officer
Mr. Adams has been with FIRE Solutions Inc. for over seven years, previously as Director of Instructional Design and Development and now our Chief Learning Officer. Throughout his tenure at FIRE, he has managed the design and creation of thousands of hours of online licensing, continuing education, insurance and CFP training. He has applied his skills in adult education and performance technology to work in developing blended learning, simulation, soft-skills and technical training using the Instructional Systems Design Model. He serves as a key member of the management team and works directly with all departments within FIRE.
Prior to FIRE Solutions, Mr. Adams worked for SumTotal Systems as a Lead Instructional Designer in their Services division. He has 15 years of experience in training and education and has worked with some of the latest technologies available in the Learning Management System and Authoring tools market which allow FIRE to offer state-of-the-art training programs. Mr. Adams holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Master of Science in Education focusing on Instructional Technology.
Carol Troxclair, Director of Content and Compliance
Ms. Troxclair has worked in the securities industry since the early 1980's and has spent the last 10 years focusing on the compliance field. As the Director of Content and Compliance with FIRE, she manages the development and updating of all of FIRE's written content, including exam preparation, continuing education, and annual compliance meetings.
Prior to joining FIRE, Ms. Troxclair served as the Senior Compliance Officer for Essex National Securities, a subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services, and as Chief Compliance Officer for Investor Resources Group. She possesses the FINRA institute compliance professional certificate from Wharton.
