Management Team

Eric Sternbach, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sternbach has over 25 years' experience working in technology-based and live training.

Prior to joining FIRE, he was the U.S. Business Development Director for ACF Consultants Ltd., a London-based financial markets training company. Prior to ACF, he worked for SumTotal Systems. Mr. Sternbach founded MicroVideo Learning Systems, the world's first video- (and later web)-based PC software training company. During his 17 years with MicroVideo, he grew the company from startup to nearly $10 million in sales and a staff of 53.

Don Adams, Chief Learning Officer
Mr. Adams has been with FIRE Solutions Inc. for almost 10 years, previously as Director of Instructional Design and Development and now our Chief Learning Officer. Throughout his tenure at FIRE, he has managed the design and development of thousands of hours of online securities exam prep, continuing education, annual compliance meetings, insurance and CFP training. He has applied his skills in adult education and human performance technology to work in developing blended learning, simulation, soft-skills and technical training using the Instructional Systems Design Model. He serves as a key member of the management team and works directly with all departments within FIRE.

Prior to FIRE Solutions, Mr. Adams worked for SumTotal Systems as a Lead Instructional Designer in their Services division. He has 19 years of experience in training and education and has worked with some of the latest technologies available in the Learning Management System and Authoring tools market which allow FIRE to offer state-of-the-art training programs. Mr. Adams holds a Master of Science degree in Education focusing on Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.

Carol Troxclair-Weber, Vice President of Compliance
Ms. Weber has worked in the securities industry since the mid 1980's and has spent the last 15 years focusing on the compliance field. As VP of Compliance with FIRE, she acts as a subject-matter expert for the development and updating of all of FIRE's written content, including continuing education, and annual compliance meetings.

Prior to joining FIRE, Ms. Weber served as the Senior Compliance Officer for Essex National Securities, a subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services, and as Chief Compliance Officer for Investor Resources Group. She possesses a Bachelors degree from American InterContinental University in International Business Administration and the FINRA Institute at Wharton Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP) certification.

Johnny Proskoczilo, Director of Technology
As Director of Technology, Mr. Proskoczilo supervises the development and maintenance of FIRE's hosted systems, including CRDirect, PowerComply, ACMNow, FIRE's proprietary reporting, enrollment, and notification systems, and underlying hardware infrastructure. His unique perspective comes from working directly with clients who use FIRE's systems, and he provides key insight on direction for numerous product lines.

Prior to joining FIRE, Mr. Proskoczilo spent 10 years in successive Information Technology positions with Automated Business Development, a division of PFPC Worldwide, Inc. ultimately ascending to Assistant Vice President and Managing Director of CRDirect.

Mr. Proskoczilo holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Relations from Boston University.

Christine Steurer, Director of Client Services
Christine has over 15 years experience in both Sales and Client Services in a technology-based environment. Prior to joining FIRE, Ms. Steurer developed the Client Services Department at StructuredWeb, Inc., a provider of a suite of web-based sales and marketing automation solutions.

Ms. Steurer has done post graduate work at Seton Hall University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from William Paterson University.
